Yard to Table is based in San Francisco and serves the greater Bay Area.

Matt Scanlan and Matt Lyon met while attending UC Berkeley. While hiking in the redwoods the Matts sprouted a plan to design and implement edible and ornamental gardens using reclaimed wood. Yard to Table was born.

Over 10 years later the Matts have designed, constructed, and maintained many styles and types of gardens from modern succulent and steel gardens to edible rooftops using reclaimed redwood.

Yard to Table grew in 2017 when we added Kirby to the family. She has a background in ecology and a special interest in California natives!

Yard to Table's heart grew even bigger in 2018 with the addition of Emily. She can't wait to get your garden blooming! Welcome Emily!
